	After successfully maintaining the draw against U23 Syria Football team with the score 0-0 on January 17 and proceeding to the quarter final of the U23 Asian Football cup, Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism, President of Vietnam Olympic Committee H.E. Nguyen Ngoc Thien has sent a congratulation letter and decided to award VND 200 million (USD 9100) to the U23 Vietnam Football team. The letter reads as follows:
Dear Head coach and all members of U23 Vietnam Football team, I am delighted that the U23 Vietnam Football team proceeds to the quarter final in the U23 Asian Football Cup for the first time after defeating Syria in January 17 evening. Previously, the team also had two praising matches against U23 Korea and U23 Australia. On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, I warmly congratulate and applaud the efforts of Head coach Mr. Park Hang-seo and all staff, coaches, football players of U23 Vietnam Football team. May I wish our football team continue to promote the spirit of sports, solidarity, discipline, efforts in the upcoming matches, bring joy and hope for football fans at home.
