About Conten Game:

Naypyidaw, Myanmar - It was a closing ceremony performance befitting the high energy levels that has typified the 27th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games. As the curtain dropped on what has been a marvellous spectacle over the last 12 days in Myanmar, all eyes now turn to Singapore as the next host of the region’s biggest multi-sport event.

On Sunday evening, the SEA Games flag was formally handed over by His Excellency U Tint Hsan, Chairman of the Myanmar SEA Games Organising Committee to Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Acting Minister for Manpower and Singapore National Olympic Council Executive Committee Member.

The significance of that moment was heightened when some 50 Singaporean performers comprising national athletes from Gymnastics and Taekwondo, students, and working professionals from Singapore SOKA Association and School of the Arts broke into a multi-dimensional performance put together by Creative and Music Director Philip Tan.

Journey to 2015

The passing of the baton to Singapore marks the beginning of a new journey towards the 28th SEA Games in June 2015 as the Singapore SEA Games Organising Committee (SINGSOC) looks to deliver an extraordinary Games.

“The 2015 SEA Games will give Singapore another opportunity to showcase itself to the rest of the region,” said Acting Minister Tan Chuan-Jin. “It is an honour and privilege to host the Games for the first time since 1993, and I am sure the country will do its best to be a good host.”

The 28th SEA Games will be held in Singapore from June 5-16, 2015, in the island nation’s 50th anniversary year. SINGSOC yesterday launched the official website and Facebook page for the 28th SEA Games, with other Games related components such as the mascot, emblem, and theme song to be unveiled from February 2014 onwards.
