In the framework of the visitworking the Asian Indoor Games and Asian martial arts Games- Incheon , 2013, the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh, Chairman of Vietnam Olympic Committee , had a meeting with President of the Olympic Council of Asia , His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al - Fahad Al – Sabah.
In the intimate and friendly atmosphere, both sides appreciated the cooperation between Vietnam and the Olympic Council of Asia, as well as between Vietnam and Kuwait over the years . Vietnam has actively participated in and supported the work of the OCA , the international sporting events .
Concerning the preparation of Vietnam for organizing the international multy-sports events, OCA president said: after the success of AIG3 - 2009 , Vietnam has been trusted to host two top sports events of continents – Asian Beach Games- 2016 and the18th Asian Games- 2019 . Successfully organized the International Sports Games will greatly enhance the image of the host country and Asian continent in general. This is also a great opportunity to promote the image of Vietnamese country and people in international forums . On this occasion , OCA President send greetings to Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan and appreciated for the potential development of socio-economic, cultural, sports and tourism of Vietnam, the beauty of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.
In conversation with Minister Hoang Tuan Anh , OCA President also appreciated the activities of the Vietnam Olympic movement. This has been confirmed by favour and honour found in the eyes of many members of the OCA , the National Olympic Committee for Vietnam for many years. It is this achievement is due to personnel forces of Vietnam with extensive experience and reputation in and abroad. He suggested, in the coming time Vietnam have to actively prepare athletes forces and for the 5th Asian Beach Games and 18th Asian Games. Vietnam will soon agree with the OCA about sports programs at this two Events
Minister Hoang Tuan Anh expressed his sincere thanks to the Olympic Council of Asia in general and personaly Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al - Fahad Al - Sabah in particular. This assistance is not just in the sports aspect but also in many other one. The Minister also appreciated the enthusiasm , hard working of the OCA president for sport movement, for Olympic movement of the world and continents. In regarding to host two major sport events in the next 7 years of Vietnam, Minister Tuan Anh also suggested the help of OCA President in seeking foreign investors to invest to Vietnam, not only in the aspect of sports but also in many other one.
Ministers invite Mr. President of OCA to come back to visit Vietnam soon , particularly Nha Trang and Hanoi, where host the 5th Asian Beach Games-2016 and 18th Asiad-2019 in order to coordinate the preparation work for the successful organization of this two Events .
