The course receives the participation of 26 coaches from different provinces in Vietnam. The participants will learn planning methods for a training session, the principles of attack, defense; planning methods during the competition period, current football trends in the world, individual/collective strike tactics etc... Within the course framework, participants will acquire updated knowledge on the Olympic Movements in Vietnam and in the world, including the Olympic values and the management of sport/Olympic organizations.

This technical course is a great opportunity for Vietnamese football coaches to be accustomed to the international football trend, to gradually improve their coaching skills, to enhance tactics, and particularly to develop short and long-term training plans.Regarding the importanceof this course, Mr.Tran Van Manh, Secretary General of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, said: "This is a significant event for coaches coming from various football clubs and provinces... Which creates the opportunity to learnmodern techniques and tactics in football in order to develop an effective training process.”

Mr. Mike Wong spoke at the Opening ceremony of the course: “As a FIFA expert, I will try to effectively deliver the course materials in a short period so that students can learn and effectively apply the skills and knowledge that the course has to offer.”

After 5 days of training, course participants will be awarded with certificates from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Federation and Association Football (FIFA).
