Kish Island, Iran: The OCA Information and Statistics Committee met at Kish Sports Centre, Kish Island, on Friday, December 20. It was the second meeting of the current committee, and members reviewed activities since their first meeting held in Dubai on April 7, 2012.The committee is now pursuing the publication process of statistical books for Wrestling and Football in Asia. Once the books are published they can be used by researchers, media and other interested individuals for statistical resources and references.

The committee is also deeply involved with the publication of a project named "ASIAD", expected to be released by April 2014. This book will give the results of all Asian Games since its inception in New Delhi in 1951 right through to the 16th edition in Guangzhou, China, in 2010, detailing medal rankings by NOCs and gender along with other relevant historical and statistical insights.

The committee observed a minute's silence in memory of a late committee member, Mr Muhammad Ali Karimov (UZB), who passed away in 2012.
