Skating is expected to develop quickly in Vietnam as the Vietnam Skating Federation (VSF) will soon be established.

In line with the 2018 Agenda of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, The Olympic Sport Management and Drowning Prevention course for sport managers in the South West region of Vietnam is held from17 to 20October 2018in Soc Trang province by the Vietnam Olympic Committee, with the assistance of the Olympic Solidarity (OS) and the cooperation of the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Soc Trang province.
