On September 5th, H.E.Mr Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister had cordially received the Vietnam Sport Delegation to congratulate on their achievements at the 29th SEA Games. Also present at the meeting were H.E. Mr Vu Duc Dam, Deputy Prime Minister, H.E.Mr Dinh Tien Dung, Minister of Finance and H.E.Mr Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism and President of Vietnam Olympic Committee.
The 29th Southeast Asia (SEA) Games Kuala Lumpur 2017 has officially concluded in a colourful and vibrant ceremony as hosts Malaysia celebrate in style the 145-gold feat in the region’s biggest sporting extravaganza at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Wednesday (30 Aug) night.
Over the last few days, representatives of the board of directors of Herbalife Vietnam witnessed and supported athletes of the Vietnam Sport delegation. Money prizes, each worths VND 12 million (USD 545), were awarded to the first 10 athletes winning gold medals at the 29th SEA Games. The following athletes received the awards:
After five days of competition at the 29th SEA Games, The Vietnam Sport delegation has temporarily occupied the second place on the medal tally with 37 gold medals, 25 silver medals and 31 bronze medals. Having received reports on these achievements over the past days, H.E. Mr Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and President of Vietnam Olympic Committee has sent a congratulation letter to the Chief of the Mission, coaches and athletes of the Vietnam Sport Delegation at the 29th SEA Games.
