Hue, May 31, 2018: With the view to expand the knowledge in football and equip coaches with modern football training experiences, the Vietnam Olympic Committee in cooperation with the Vietnam Football Federation organizes a training course for football coaches from May 31 to June 4, 2018 in Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province. The course is part of the four technical training courses coachesto be organized throughout 2018 in Vietnam(funded by the Olympic Solidarity). This technical course for football coaches is delivered by Mr. Mike Wong, expert from the International Federation and Association Football (FIFA).

Kuwait, April 28, 2018: The Olympic Council of Asia has welcomed the news that the two Koreas are planning future cooperation following their historic summit on Friday, raising expectations of unified teams at upcoming events. The OCA Director General, Mr Husain Al Musallam, said this encouraging development paved the way for further progress in relations between the National Olympic Committees of DPR Korea and Republic of Korea.

The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Tokyo 2020) has produced a new and specially formulated mathematics drill that is being incorporated in a supplementary mathematics textbook set to be deployed in elementary schools in Tokyo's Shibuya ward. Around 1,000 students at 18 schools are initially expected to use the new materials, which aim to promote children's learning through an interaction with sport. To mark their release, Tokyo 2020 today hosted a class using the new mathematics drill in Yoyogi Sanya elementary school in Shibuya, with the help of several Japanese Olympians.
