On 07/06/2017, Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism Mr Nguyen Ngoc Thien welcomed and discussed with Vice President of Ajinomoto Group, President of Ajinomoto Asian region Mr Kaoru Kurashima the nutritional support project for the Vietnam Sport Contingent. The meeting also received the attendance of Vietnam Sports Administration Chairman Mr Vuong Bich Thang and Vietnam Sports Administration Deputy Chairman Mr Tran Duc Phan.
THE 100-day countdown to the 9th ASEAN Para Games begins on Friday (June 9 2017), marking another significant milestone as Malaysia prepares to host the region’s biggest Para sporting extravaganza which commences on Sept 17.
The Executive Board (EB) of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) today approved the event programme for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. On 06/06/2017, the Announcement Ceremony of Herbalife Nutrition as the Official Nutrition Partner for the Vietnam Sport Contingent competing at the 29th SEA Games and the 9th ASEAN Para Games was held at theVietnam Sport Administration Office, Hanoi. The sign off event extends the sporsorship agreement for the period 2017-2021 between the Vietnam Olympic Committee, the Vietnam Paralympic Assiciation and Herbalife Nutrition (specialising in providing nutritional products from natural herbal sources).

On 23 May 2017, Government representatives from Asia and Oceania have gathered atthe 14th Asia/Oceania Region Intergovernmental Ministerial Conference on Anti-Doping in Sport in Hangzhou to discuss ways to boost international cooperation on anti-doping in sports. Representatives of Vietnam delegates attending the conference include Ms Le Thi Hoang Yen, Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnam Sports Administration and Mr Nguyen Xuan Ninh, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Anti-Doping and Sports Medicine Agency.
